The licence for paid items
Most of the @ag registry is free, under the MIT licence. The items marked paid are licensed under these terms instead. Every file of a paid item opens with a line naming its item and pointing here.
Who it is for
A paid item is licensed to the person or team its licence key was issued to (the holder). The key is the holder's alone: don't share it, and don't commit it anywhere.
What you can do
- Install paid items into your own projects with your key, and change them as you like.
- Ship them inside your products: websites, apps and tools, your own or ones you build for a client, commercial or not. The code your product ships to its users, built and bundled, is fine.
- Keep using any version you installed while your key was active, after it ends.
What you can't do
- Publish an item's source. No public repository, gist or paste holds a paid item's files. If your project's repository is public, keep paid items out of it: ignore them in git and install them when you build, or commit them encrypted.
- Redistribute an item's source in anything others receive as source: a template, a starter, a kit, a component library or a package.
- Resell, sublicense or share the items or the key.
Updates
While your key is active, it installs the current version of every paid item. A key can be revoked when these terms are broken.
No warranty
The items are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. The author is not liable for any claim or damage arising from their use, as under the MIT licence.
Free items stay under the MIT licence.
